Service Foods Honored As No. 1 Large Private Company During Georgia Fast 40 Awards
The fourth annual awards recognize Service Foods for its sustained growth in revenue and employees over a three-year period.
ATLANTA, July 5—Service Foods, a leading provider of all-natural, high-quality organic food for home delivery, has been named as the No. 1 large private company during the recent Georgia Fast 40 awards ceremony held at the St. Regis Atlanta.
The Georgia Fast 40 awards are issued by Georgia Trend magazine, a statewide business publication, along with the Atlanta chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth and southeastern regional CPA firm Cherry, Bekaert & Holland LLP.
The program honors middle-market companies headquartered in Georgia that have had the greatest growth in revenue and employees over the last three years. Twenty companies with revenues of $15 million to $60 million were recognized in the Small-Middle Market category, while an additional 20 companies with revenues ranging from $60 million to $550 million were recognized in the Large Market category.

To be selected, companies had to demonstrate sustained growth over three years, with emphasis placed on the latest year. More weight was given to revenue growth – 75 percent – compared to 25 percent for employee growth. Service Foods’ record earned it the award for the No. 1 large private company, while ExamWorks Group, an independent medical examination services company led by CEO Jim Price, earned the award for the No. 1 large public company and overall winner.
Over the last three years, Service Foods has seen impressive growth in both revenue and employees. The company has built a large team of dietitians, nurses, doctors, dentists and fitness experts who provide health education, proper nutrition and expert fitness training, along with a wide range of high-quality, all-natural foods. These efforts, in addition to Service Foods’ commitment to supporting major health awareness campaigns like the College Park Healthy City initiative, the Get Body Beautiful contest and the American Diabetes Association’s Tour de Cure cycling event and Step Out Walk to Stop Diabetes, demonstrate the company’s mission to end the healthcare crisis in America.
"The dedicated team at Service Foods has been working very hard to establish our company as a leading company in the metro Atlanta area and beyond. We are committed to providing our clients access to valuable tools that help them live healthier lifestyles," said Service Foods CEO Dr. Keith Kantor. "I am very proud to be honored with the Georgia Fast 40 award and believe this reinforces our commitment."
In addition to the Fast 40 award, Service Foods was also recently earned second place in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year awards for the Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee region. The award program recognizes entrepreneurs who demonstrate extraordinary success in the areas of innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. Past winners include what are now some of the most recognizable names in business today, such as Starbucks Corporation, The Home Depot and Oracle.
